I made a post at the marketplace forum about wanting these rules, but I am also open to suggestions for similar rulesets that might not be OOP like Overlord is. I am interested in the Normandy campaign and looking for an entry game into miniatures gaming. I tend towards "simulationist" games rather than abstracted beer and pretzels games, and enjoy playing Advanced Squad Leader a lot. Detail can be fun in games, and I suppose I would enjoy some (or a lot) of it in my first miniatures game too. |

Is BG Normandy good for skirmish -size battles? Good detail on armor and artillery/air support? |

Its more for platoon size. More like squad leader I guess. |

Thanks for the recommendation, I bought Overlord with the rulesbook. |

I found it a good tead, I still have to play it. The ole way too many games and not enough time to play each. |
