Let's just say there are no surprises. You won't find the sons and daughters of the rich and famous on the charts. As they said during the Civil War, "a rich man's war and a poor man's fight."

Amazing. You only need to go two or three pages into the posts and it becomes readily apparent that many of the posters hadn't even watched the video.

Kerry was right though, even if he was a bit heavy-handed, and I think speaking euphemistically. A disproportionate number of recruits are from the more economically stressed areas of the country.

As has been said, that is no surprise … and it's been that way for a very long time and not just in the US. But that being said, after serving over a decade as a Grunt in my youth … Better some join the military than be without a job/income and in turn be a productive member of society … May sound like "cold hard facts" … but it is what it is …
