Anyone any idea when Seekreig is planning to release the 'Minor Navies' ship data? It was due in 2010 and I know there was some delays in production. |

I chatted with Jack Joyner and Rich Sartore at Historicon last month on the topic of the Minor Navies CD. Here is the problem: After about five years of research effort, they have finally been forced to concede that there are certain ships (for example: a purchased commercial vessel converted to a gunboat for the Mexican navy in the late 19th century and a Finnish pre-WW1 coast defense vessel) for which they can simply find no data. Jack mentioned an intent to post the situation on the Seekrieg Yahoo Groups site and ask for help from forum group members. I do not know what the ultimate plans are for release of the minor navies CD. You'll need to contact them on that point. Another issue is that there are several other SK related projects which have been sitting on a back burner for a long time while they have grappled with this CD. My personal opinion is that, with all the CDs already released, they have done more in this area than any other rules authors that I know of – especially considering the level of detail they go into. Or release what they have, I'm keen to use the Autro-Hungarians, Swedes, Danish, Norwegian and Dutch. |

I also think they should release whatever they have. The lack of coverage for the Austrian Navy has hold me back from WWI in the Mediterranean, which was the original reason that brought me to Seekrieg. |

I second DestoFante as regards the Med. Bob |

I am with the above. I would like to have the disk so I can do the Med as well. |
