46-91, what cold war armies do you have currently and in what scales? Any army you particularly like to paint or play? Next on your shopping list? |

I collect 6mm Soviets, which I really enjoy painting. Once I finish with those, I might move on to West Germans, 6mm. |

All 15mm: Vietnam, Americans mostly. Still need to get Peter Pig VC/NVA and ARVN. 'Coldest War' Swedes and Soviets, as soon as Armies Armies gets the Swedes modeled, and QRF gets the S-Tank and PBv302s made. Arab-Israeli wars I might get into some Cold War Gone Hot, mid 1980s. Korea hasn't been that interesting to me. |

- 6mm 1983 (+/- 10 years) Soviets, other Warsaw Pact, Americans, Canadians, scattered others (have a bunch more in 6mm that are 1991+, so ultramodern) - 3mm as above, for division-sized battles - 3mm Vietnam - lots of 1/600 aircraft, covering the whole period, inc. Korea, Vietnam, India-Pakistan, Europe |

My 6mm Chinese fall under "ultramodern", and we're still waiting for their homebrew aircraft to come out in 1/600, or I'd have a pile of them too. |

Got some 20mm Swedes, but I am planning to switch to 15 mm as soon as I see some infantry out there! (The Pbv 302 is welcome as well, so holding my thumbs for QRFs new molds) My plan is somewhere on the "catch them all" aspect of it, needing at least a few company sized units, and then the opposition.. Will probably make QRF, Peter Pig, Armies Army(?) and Battlefront happy people. Edit: Oh, forgot my 1:300 swedes and Soviets. S-tanks, Centurions, pbvs, ikvs enough to keep the soviets at bay. |
RJ Smith | 19 Aug 2014 1:14 p.m. PST |
I have to get back into this hopefully this fall and dust off and complete my 3mm Canadians and East Germans. The thing I love about this scale is I can actually build 1 to 1 Brigade size units without adding another room to the house for storage and of course breakign the bank in purchasing it all. |

20mm BAOR and Soviets. Gradually collecting West German models 'for later' (!) and will start on the Belgians when Shaun releases a VCi…. All are for 1977/8, but I fudge things a bit so I can use what kits are available (or look nice). |
