As the title suggests, does anyone have any references to the effective range of rockets (Eurasia, East Asia, SE Asia etc)in the 16th and 17th centuries? Especially useful would be ranges compared to conventional artillery. Cheers Nic |

Mythbusters did an episode that tested a Korean rocket launcher trying to hit a body of troops. Episode #110 from 2008. Range is stated as 500 yds. link |
