Just watched Day of the Siege. Nice movie about Turks attacking Vienna 1683. If you have Netflix, well worth your time.

I gotta sign up for some VPN service so that I can get US Netflix in Canada.

I watched it as well. Honestly it doesn't do justice to the actual events, and was just ok as a film. It skips all over the place and doesn't really give you context as to what is going on, but those Winged Hussars charging in the final battle look terrific, and overall the costuming is great.

Been waiting for this – based on what I saw back a few years ago on this it didn't end up as intended. But still should be interesting.

Watched last night. Agree, a little all over the place. Sometimes hard to follow. But something good to watch. Was better then most everything else on TV.

The Adventures of Baron Munchausen is a documentary compared to the movie! Be prepared to suspend any disbelief. The uniforms are interesting though so just turn the sound off. I wish Netflix would add "The Hidden Valley".
