as you say, they are great and far more pictures on the blog than the website (see the link above). The conversion from the foot artillery went really well from the front. The error was leaving the foot style ammo pouch, the bayonet and the short sword. Thought struck me last night, with only one cross belt now, what is keeping the bayonet and sword on the figure. The answer of course is that lower edge of the original cross belt is still there….it just comes o a dead end as it passes beneath the other. Indeed, on the ventsman with the thumb down, you can still see traces of the original belt passing up to his right shoulder. Conversion would now be difficult. Much grinding to do here….I do like the end result even with flaws |
