Back in late June we held our annual game at Chateau Blaireau. Loosely ( very so please no rivet counter comments about Poles and Bavarians ) based on Dresden it featured over 2,500 Murawski, Perry, Perry-Foundry and Victrix figures. An allied victory was the results but the Poles won their little engagement with their Russki fiends.
More pictures and a brief write up may be found here: rtbatlarge.blogspot.co.uk Hope you like the pictures. |

@Murawski! First thank you for the regular news letter/E-mail and direction for building my Polish Corps! Second- fabulous looking figs? Third- The game was GdB, would that be correct? Finally… Can you elaborate a little on the units that can form into skirmish line and the diagonal cut base plan? Thanks MG |

Thanks for the nice comments everyone. The rules used were G de B with a couple of house rules. The triangle bases are jsut a way of allowing a line unit, such as Russian Jaegar or Austrian Grenz, to be portrayed as line or in skirmish order. Line infantry skirmishers, or brigade or divisional skirmishers, are on the oval bases. Despite none of the other players being half Welsh and half Polish, they are gentlemen ( two are even Belgians!!!) and we find no problem with this. |
