I've been seeing ads for a set of plastic zombie army men, sold as "Zombies at War". Has anyone seen these close up? Are they reasonably close to 2" in size? The figures in the photos are not that impressive, but you can't always tell without actually seeing the figures in the flesh (or in this case, rotting flesh). The prices have ranged from $6 USD to $12 USD per bag, but with postage added they get a little pricey unless they are really good. Can anybody help? |

I think they are more like 54mm. I bought the "Survivors and zombies" bag and they were 54mm. |

DerKrampus the set you mention, who makes these. I've been looking at Gentle Giants 'Walking Dead' 54mm figures which are really nice. They're doing a couple of new sets at the back end of this year according to their website which include further zombies and a couple of the survivors. Been considering doing zombies in 54mm using modern US infantry by Armies in Plastic. Just need to source police and civilians Bumbydad who makes the Zombies at War. |

Sorry for the delay in replying. Here is a listing (not sure who the manufacturer is): link As far as police are concerned, there are sets at Toys R Us that include vehicles, etc., that are pretty close to 54mm. The same figures are sometimes at Dollar Tree, but they seem to be getting smaller with each generation of re-casts. |

Recently purchased a couple of boxes of 'Box Of Zombies'. Lovely sculpts, and there is talk of survivors being produced. Also got one set of the Walking Dead Zombies. Both sets are nearer to 60mm but well worth getting. The Walking Dead ones are harder to come by. Always on the look out for more zombies to add to my horde. |

Could anyone suggest any large scale mutated figures/creatures that could be used with 54mm. |
