Hello, I was just wondering if anybody knew of a manufacturer who does separate punk heads in 28mm?

Thinking the classic Mohawks, piercings etc.

Thanks,

Rob

None that I know of, Rob, but I'd be interested in them, too. Especially female punk heads, so I could convert some 28mm versions of the old Citadel Punk-Amazons.

You know, some of the GW Marauder heads might work – maybe not with Mohawks, but earrings, shaved heads and crazed attitudes – the cheerful chap holding the mine is one of my conversions using them

Heads with mohawks are surprisingly hard to find – I checked Warlord, who have several sets of indians in both plains indians and french-indian wars, but you can't get the heads seperate.

Black Cat Bases have one head pack with a punk mohawk in it, and they have a civilian set with a punk head (figures are multipart), but that's about it.

Dare I say it – unless you go the GW Marauder or Space Wolves route, you might be best off greenstuffing mohawks onto bald heads.

However, I have that niggling feeling that I've forgotten a company that does do suitable heads…

One final option is to get the human bikers from westwind's roadkill game. several have punk hairstyles, and they're having a sale right now, so that 10 bikers + bikes is £15.00 GBP Pretty good deal and you get loads of useful parts to make punks and bikers!

Plastic heads in the Gangs of MegaCity 1 Street Gang set I think.

I'm looking forward to the release of the Wargames Factory AWI Indians specifically for the mohawks. I'm going to use them, with weapon modifications, for post apoc gangers.

Ha! So not just me then? Seeing a gap in the market!

That is great Ashokmarine, thanks for pointing them out.

Good call on those Mad Robot heads, and great news that wargames factory will be doing AWI indians.

BTW, pretty sure they will be largely incompatible – at least within the same unit. I have quite a few wargames factory heads, and they tend to be small (i.e. realistically proportioned), while the mad robot ones are 'heroic 28s' – 'heroic' scale heads are often twice the size of small 28mm heads like wargames factory's.
