Thanks for the compliment ironicon. In the past I liked using 2 Hour Wargames Colonial Adventures Rules.I recently bought the second version and am playing out a few staged scenarios in an effort to re-familiarize myself with the rules as well as figure put ways to handle skirmishers and unusual situations. These rules are easy to play solo as well and almost seem to be set up for that. I have used Madguru's Maiwand Page and his approach to terrain as a guide. His terrain is always very playable and looks amazing. I am trying to keep mine as playable and flexible as possible so as not to have to build custom terrain for each battle to be fought. |
