For your consideration and viewing pleasure, things Orky and sundry: blackwidowpilot.blogspot.com
Now, where DID I put that old M3 halftrack model? My own Orks deserve a ride to call their own…. Leland R. Erickson Metal Express metal-express.net |

Thanks, gents! The M3 Lee in 1/35 scale along with the M3 halftrack make for some of the best WH40K Ork battle wagon conversions, as they're both boxy, covered in rivets in the case of the M3 Lee, and relatively inexpensive kits commonly available and now in fast build kit format. Just add plenty of spikes, hillbilly armor plates, and suitably Orky firepower. Leland R. Erickson Metal Express metal-express.net |

I have found that 1/35th scale works great for 40K size models. Oh and you can find them for far less money from your wallet. |

I still love the old Monogram Bumbar tank as a baneblade sub |

Mith, the fast build format kits are dirt cheap at Michael's if you've one of their handy 40% off coupons. A quick and dirty source for kitbashing Orky battlewagons on a budget, and for a whole lot less than the inflated prices Games Sweatshop loves to charge… And yes, the Brumbar is another handy WW2 subject that converts really well to a WH40KRT AFV, though I tend to prefer the T-34/75 or the Panther for sci-fi conversions in general as they have such well sloped armor… Leland R. The Patton does make for a good Space Marine Predator. The Warrior IFV makes for a great Imperial Guard Cmd Track. The M2 Bradley makes for a great Chimera even comes with it own Hunter Seeker Missiles. |

Truly impressive builds. The Imperial flyer is great. |
BlackWidowPilot | 15 Aug 2014 8:50 a.m. PST |
Thank you for the kind words, gang! That Imperial flyer was the result of combining several empty body wash and/or shampoo bottles, some assorted toy bits and plastic model parts, and a canopy from a pinewood derby car accessories set from the local craft store. Parts is parts! Leland R. Erickson Metal Express metal-express.net |
