Inspired by Patrick Leigh Fermor's book on the Mani, I converted a bunch of Ral Partha bashi bazouks to Maniots. I've got two clans of Maniots, and if having them fight each other wears thin, I have some Minifig GNW Turks to try to extort some long back due taxes from them. I like the tower, and need to sit down and build a village with towers for my Maniots. In the meantime, I'm saving the photo you linked to. Grelber |

If you had a ready source of the old Airfix 'Sherwood Castle' you could easily build that with about 2 boxes and still have bits left over. |

I hope now that there is a range of 28mm figures for The Greek Wars of Independence, having seen the light of day that one of the manufacturers of MDF buildings will take up the gauntlet and produce a selection of dedicated towers and fortified Greek houses!…….even if its only one or two |
