"There is never a dull moment when a new Wingnut Wings kit arrives on your doorstep for review. I have been extremely privileged to have reviewed no less than 7 of their previous releases all of which have offered a wonderful conclusion. This time around they have delighted us with a dual release of the historically important German reconnaissance aircraft the DFW C.V both mid and late production types. You can find the excellent published review of the mid production kit as written by my good friend and colleague James Hatch here but today I hope to enlighten you with my thoughts and insight as to the DFW C.V late production offering. Lovely model, and a ridiculously neglected aircraft by modelmakers and gamers – it was the most common German aircraft of the entire war, yet the average gamer's never even heard of it. |
