Hey all,

Just wondering how the plastic Ansar that Perry makes would compare to my Old Glory Ansar. Are they similar size wise or are they significantly different?

Thanks!

They are very similar size-wise. Style wise they are different but since they are usually pretty dark they mix really well.

yes they mix well

I have some of the Perry. They are a little thinner than Old Glory but about the same height. They don't have the same detail. If you mix them in a unit with Old Glory they won't really stand out, and as men are usually not all the same size anyway, it gives a nice look. If you do them as a separate unit you will notice the difference.

I agree with everyone. I have a box of plastics mixed into my army. I chose to make them into the Kordufan variant for some variety. The only problem I have is when we knock them over as dead or wounded the heavy 1 inch washer base tends to allow them to "pop" back up when the casualties mount into piles. So every now and then we see some Dervish Zombies appear from the sands of the desert floor.
If you look through some of my Sudan Campaign posts you can see the Kordu's in there.
