auction I wish I had $2 USDk laying around. :-) It really does amaze me that GW doesn't think about doing a kickstarter for Warmaster. I would say based on what I have seen from Kickstarters they could probably could have a campaign that reaches 5-10 million easy. Same with Epic. |

Me also. But I could never paint all that! I think he'd probably do better selling them by army, or even as individual blisters. I'm a big fan of Warmaster, and I'm sorry that GW dropped the line. But there are lots of 10mm stand ins for the various armies, not to mention stuff on e-Bay, so the opportunity to create a good army and play remains out there. |

Copplestone is the best right now IMO. |

If interested i have two (2) armies for Warmaster – Orc&goblin , Undead, which i can let go for a lot less than 2k . Each is around 1500 points. |

I have a TON of Warmaster stuff… Undead(dry and wet), High Elf, Dwarves – about 3000 points each painted and Orc/Goblins & Empire unpainted, also about 3000 points each. I really wish that GW still produced this great figures, but I honestly didn't see them keeping it around for long, so I bought up as much as I could when it was still relatively plentiful. Glad I did. If look on eBay, now there are people asking RIDICULOUS amounts of money for a pack of figures! $49.95 USD for a SINGLE pack of infantry!! I never paid that much for the Starter Army boxes, back when GW was producing them… I wonder if GW still has the molds or if they destroyed them? |

It is a pretty good price at $6.67 USD a pack. Cheaper than when they came out originally. I have a ton of Warmaster stuff too, including entire unpainted Dark Elf, Bretonnian, Empire, Orc and Lizardmen armies. It is a great game. I still play it, I ran a game of it at a con just last fall. |

It really does amaze me that GW doesn't think about doing a kickstarter GW will never do a Kickstarter since that would mean giving away models for FREE. That would dive them crazy if they ever did that. |

Warmaster was one of GW's better products, IMO. I still remember seeing the monster game they put on with the entire studio's 28mm collection but Warmaster rules… GW is a big enough company that they could afford to do a new run of Warmaster using the petty cash fund. I cannot see their current management team approving anything that might require them to sell minis for less than full retail price. |

GW apparently believed that Warmaster was a "distraction" for their sales of the WFB flagship line. Unfortunately, this belief has led them to cancel all of the secondary games that often kept people from ever leaving the GW Hobby. Shortsighted. I am sure GW has all the molds and could re-release the game if they ever came to believe there was enough profit in it for them. It is a shame, because a smaller company could release this range and be very happy, but for GW's bottom line it is probably not worth it to them. |

GW apparently believed that Warmaster was a "distraction" for their sales of the WFB flagship line. As to that point, I will say that I discovered Warmaster when I was looking at getting into the hobby in earnest (discovered it, btw, through the early version of TMP and the Rules Directory). At the time, I knew of WFB, and was interested, but hesitated due to cost, painting requirements, and the fact that at the time, the intro box was made of armies I wasn't interested in. Warmaster looked cheaper and easier on all fronts, so in a way, yes, it did "distract" me from WFB. However, at the time I was actually giving 1/72s a go, so I wasn't really pursuing GW products as a first choice. With Warmaster, I wound up being a GW customer when I otherwise probably would not have done so (at least not until the LotR game arrived). So maybe I wasn't so much distracted as I was responding to (for me) a better alternative that fit my needs and interest. |

It is a really good game. Warmaster shines in its original fantasy form. |

I was lucky a few years back and won 2 similar size auctions from a Belgium shop and I paid £1.23 GBP per pack including the postage was very lucky there flogged off some of the duplicated packs such as 12 empire hero on a griffon but still with 600 packs I managed to get most of the main army's out ;-) |
