This is why I've hung onto my packs of 25mm Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle figures by Dark Horse Miniatures.

I guess now would be a good time to get them out and paint. them.

I have my collections of the original Eastman/Laird TMNT stories to fall back on should the nostalgia ever take hold.

I didn't like them enough to be so fanatically loyal though.
