So, we are passing around the AK-47 rules and laughing at the non-PC focus. We are planning to base figures on Flames of War bases.
By a coincidence I was priming a few ANZAC figures for FoW last night and I was wondering of they would serve in AK-47 as white mercenaries or whatnot. The bush hat is what caught my attention and got me thinking.

The figures are 15mm Quality Castings from Old Glory 15s. "True 15mm" scale. Slim compared to BF or CD but nice.

Sure, why not?

You can use pretty well anything in AK47, which is a major part of the appeal.

I don't see why not. My Imaginations Africa project uses figures from WWII and the Cold War. I have been thinking about using Brit 8th Arm figs as some sort of territorial militia.

Absolutely not.

The buttons are on the wrong way round..not to mention the left side fold on the Bush hat.

What were you thinking!!

;o)

Well, I suppose he COULD get the "right" figures, but I think he just wants to use what he has without the universe swallowing him up in cold disdainful non caring anger.

A group of players at my club did a short AK47 campaign – the vast majority of the figures used were WWII FoW based figures of assorted sorts.

As Martin says – one big appeal of AK47 is that virtually any figure type can be used to make a force.
