Does anyone make 15mm East Germans or WWII Germans in the East German style helmet. I would like to do some what if the war went longer and the Germans actually got help or at the least a truce with the west to focus on the Soviets. With some of the nice new armor models coming out for this period I think it would be fun.

Depending upon your willing to modify existing figures, Peter Pig have some separate heads in their range 6, heads and odds range

Otherwise take a look at the various WWII1946 ranges although offhand I don't recall anyone making them.

Head swaps on 15mm minis are really pretty easy, IMO, but you need to watch out for getting 'big 15mm' troops.

Well, as it seems you live in the same side of the ocean than the khurasan miniatures, propably best option is to take a look at their Yom Kippur-range Syrian troops.

In scale quite identical helmet, good enough uniform (okay – they should be wearing leather boots, assault boots were for the paratroopers only – in 1988 decission was made to replace infantry leather boots with assault boots, also, the actual uniform has some minor differences fex. jacket should be shorter), webbing does it but ofc not 5/5, for reservists/early 1980s the "basic" AKM, used by Syrian-figures, is good to go.

Rumor has is someone is working on them, but they are not available yet.

If it's set right after 1945, odds are any German troops on the Red side would either be communist militia types or just kitted out in Red Army gear.

Though having them look distinctive IS more fun on the table.

If you order 10 of the same pack I will do the head swap for you and cast them up if it helps. i.e." can you change pack XXX to the east German heads and sell me 10 of them"
