I've been doing lots of research and reading on buying some 6 or 10mm figs for Western Front WWI; i've found (and been interested) in the most commons (i.e. Scotia, Pendraken, Heroics & Ros, Irregular). My only problem is, i didn't exactly feel like throwing wads of cash in shipping from the UK to here, in the US. Not to mention, there's very few distributors; anyone know of any good US manufacturers in 6/10mm or "unheard of" distributors of the above companies?
Thanks,
Jake

Warstore carries Pendraken and is very reliable.
Great Hall Miniatures also carries Pendraken and can special order WWI I believe.
I've ordered directly from Irregular and they are easy to deal with.
A quick search shows FRP Games carries Scotia Grendel products perhaps they'd be able to special order.

Good luck,

Pat

Contact Treefort Games in Fayetteville, GA. They have some Pendraken WW1 army packs on the shelf.

I ordered a bunch of stuff direct from Pendraken to southern California. It arrived earlier than they state on their site and the cost was not prohibitive. If you are not comfortable with ordering direct, The Warstore is a great option. I looked at all the options when I decided to go 10mm. I was not happy at all with the 6mm options out there at the time. Of course, since then, Baccus has come out with a beautiful range. If you go 6mm I would highly recommend them. I have not ordered from them myself so I cannot comment on their service directly, however, numerous people on TMP have praised their service.

Oh and I think you can get Baccus from Scale Creep….

I've been ordering Pendraken from Indonesia (not often enough, to my regret). Good service, very reasonable prices & shipping. And Leon is wonderful to deal with.

Scotia Grendel figures will only work for late war. This will not be an option if you are wanting to game other periods and theatres other than the Western Front.

Go Pendraken 10mm. You'll never go back.

Thanks for the suggestions every one! I ended up ordering a pack of Pendraken 10mm French infantry (in Adrian helmet) from the Warstore..if I find that I like them, I'll have to suck it up and start ordering straight from the UK, haha.

I think that you will like the Pendraken figures.

Here is my 10mm WW1 Project using Pendraken.

I have just placed another order.

I would say 10mm Pendraken, I love their miniatures and the range is growing all the time.

My preference is Eastern Front or Middle East
