Staying for the next week in Ironbridge, Shropshire so on the lookout for gaming shops, days out or attractions that may suit an historical gamer or his MTG mad boy (!) Old Oswestry fort, RAF museum and trips into Shrewsbury and Ludlow already pencilled in so any ideas welcome. |

I recommend the Shropshire Light Infantry Museum located in Shrewsbury Castle. Covers the military period roughly from medieval times to modern day. link |

There's a Lightning jet fighter in the RAF Cold War museum….give it a loving pat for me! It is hung vertically (or was when I took this photo) from the roof for some reason.
