I am looking for something historical (fantasy roots are OK), handling mounted and dismounted well. Must support the variations of troop type found in Italy in the late 15th century. It should be well suited to 28mm, allow more than two players, and allow one player to control at least half-a-dozen figures. Thoughts? And yes I am a crummy typeset. |

Lord of the rings would work quite nicely. |

Mine are probably suited to what you want, and were initially inspired by Retinue. They are free to download from link Look for 'Sword and Dagger' rules. I hope they are what you need, and you enjoy using them! |

Firm believer in Pig Wars. The categories of weapon, armour and troop qualities are brpad enought o us for the later middle ages without alteration. |
