Interesting idea!. "For the third phase of the Flames of War League in Goblintrader, we've created 3 predefined maps for the guys to quickly set up the battles. In this third phase, they're going to play 3 missions, so we created 3 maps for them. Also, we've separated the scenery for each of those maps in separate boxes. So, when they're going to play, they roll 1d6 and select the box with the scenery. Then, they set up these scenery following the maps…" see here link Do you used maps in your FOW wargames? We do not use maps but that is a very cool idea. |

That's a great idea! I'm less sure about the maps, as I like a bit more variety in my setups, but I can totally see doing something like that for a shop campaign or similar. |

It's a good idea. I've been thinking of doing that for tournaments to speed up setup and ensure all tables are sensible terrain-wise. Too often letting players set up tables with whatever is to hand results in complaints about playability. |

Awesome idea in fact… I do what I can, with the megar scenery I have… if I had the time and room, I would be doing FoW campaigns based on certain fronts with build points, reserves, off board movement… etc… |

I think Battlefront missed a massive trick with terrain. They could easily have produced a book just about terrain with guidelines on how to layout quality tables and how to make different types of terrain. |
