Hurricon 2014 is shaping up to be a monster convention. Start with our guest of honor, Bob Moon, and his amazing Gettysburg game. Hurricon picks up more speed and strength as it passes over The Sword and the Flame weekend tribute with 5 back to back games. And of course there is the spin offs from the Hurricon to include Stan Kubiak and his famous Aerodrome games. Do you dare take to the air in the face of such a storm? The game grid continues to fill out nicely with all our big tables spoken for. We still have some regular tables so if you have not submitted your game yet still time. In the heart of Orlando there are few locations to rival it. September 25-28 in Orlando. There is still room in the host hotel. For more details please go to our website, hmgs-south.com |

I had a look at Bob's game at Historicon and all the players are in for a treat. It's a great looking table, has all the salient points and the entire group of 20+ players were all into the game with enthusiasm. |

This year's Hurricon has something for everyone. Dozens of miniature games in various genres, board games, RPG, and tournaments. $79 USD room rates are pretty good for Orlando in September. Orlando is a central location with plenty of things to do for the entire family. The hotel on I drive is surrounded by good restaurants. The pool at the Palms is pretty good too. The Wind and the Lion is full. other TSATF games are filling. Hogan's 55 days at peking will be fun and full of surprises. We have some of the great gamesmasters here including Bill Moreno, Bob Moon, Stan Kubiak and TSATF gang. As Marc says it is shaping up to be a great con. Be part of it. |
