I just finished two new vehicles – one that is kitbashed and the other that is scratchbuilt. I hope that you like them.
The vehicle on the left is the monotread truck that I showed about two months ago, the vehicle next to it is a tank I built using mostly a tape spool, plastic sheet, and some bits, the next vehicle is kitbashed using various parts from different vehicles, and the robot is a toy. The miniatures are from the left a Quar cavalryman, two Quar infantry, a Void commando SGT, a Jungle Commando from Warzone, and a Void Assault Arakton.
The monotread truck build can be seen at otherworldminiatureslab.blogspot.com/2014/06/monotread-truck-inspiration-while.html, The tank build can be seen at otherworldminiatureslab.blogspot.com/2014/07/a-new-vehicle-to-go-with-monotreads.html, The hover van can be seen at otherworldminiatureslab.blogspot.com/2014/06/a-new-vehicle-from-my-warped-mind.html. The robot can be seen at the bottom of the hover delivery van page. |

I watched Riddick last night, the bluish one reminds me of the hover bikes – nice concept/conversion. |

Thank you, Sir. It all just started with the back part and took shape from there. |

Inspiring, very good work and most of all, looks like you had lots of fun doing it. Cheers and happy gaming. |

What is the green bot from? I have some ideas for a few of these. Anyone know? |

Thanks, Zargon, I mostly enjoy having different pieces to game with when we play Salvage Dog. Grey Legion, the green bot is a toy that came with some sort of base and it was attached to it by a white plastic rod which came out the lower rear of the bot. There were small magnets attached to the backside of the "hands" for some reason. I did very little repainting on it, so it is about the way it would look new. I have had it for some years, so you would probably need to check resale shops to find any. |
