I finally completed a six-week project to paint all the Great Old Ones playing pieces from this game (approx. 54mm) and since I'm not having much luck getting the images posted to BoardgameGeek.com, I might as well share them here!
A class photo. I also have individual detailed scans. They turned out nice, I must say. I didn't think I had it in me. Of course, my sanity is now reduced by at least 50%. |

Very well done. That's my favorite King in Yellow, ever. |

Thanks for the feedback! It will be well worth the effort to play this next time with such gaudy monstrosities. I wanted to show what can be done with the raw materials and some application. The game is a hoot! Me like very much! Much play value for money. Now if only players will stop referring to Yog-Sothoth as "Mr. Bubbles"….. |

Excellent paint jobs. Very eldritch and scary. What sizes approximately are the playing pieces please? |

Superb colour schemes; really evocative and indeed eldritch as kropotkin says. |

Yes, large 54mm. Nicely detailed. They paint up great with washes and dry brushing; I primed with a white plastic primer first and I applied many layers of paints and inks to bring out textures and tones. Tried to give each a distinctive color palette, as appropriate. I see room for improvement but on the whole they came out better than I'd hoped for, certainly creepy and dramatic enough to goose up the playing experience. |

Oh. So you weren't referring to the collapse of the casino industry in the Garden State? |

Who can say what signs and portents may herald the rise of sunken R'lyeh? |
