All, has anyone tried using Star Wars RPGS stats as a skirmish game? I've only browsed the books so am unsure if they are suitable for a faster pace skirmish game. |

I know West End Games had a compadable miniature game to go with their RPG. |

It depends which Star Wars RPG are you talking about? There were three versions under West End Games, three versions with Wizards of the Coast, and now two versions with Fantasy Flight Games. As Inari7 said, West End Games had their own compatible miniature game. They had rules for converting your RPG characters into the miniature game's heroes. The RPG rules themselves wouldn't work very well, but I think the miniature rules work very well. Wizards of the Coast's D20 Star Wars combat rules are really a set of Skirmish rules in themselves. They released a set of miniature rules and pre-painted miniatures for it as well. The rules for it were a streamlined version of the D20 combat rules with points costs added to each model. I don't have any experience with the Fantasy Flight Games version to know if they are playable as a miniature game. |
