I've been trying to improve my wargames setup for an upcoming fight. I'm not sure how many folks are still out there that like building things from random bits found around the house, but I am one of these people. Here's a small piece of my arsenal: pieces preserved for the sake of creating sci-fi model structures and vehicles . . .

Structures and vehicles made with similarly preserved pieces . . .

All of this and more are is the subhject of a new post over on Poetry of the Symphonic (and more than slightly deadly looking) called A Place Worth the Fight.

I do talk some about how these structures became what they are in the post, but for now, some more art . . .

The last one is not quite finished. (I hope this is obvious, but in case it is not . . . ) Take a look. Cheer or jeer. Or both, maybe. Sometimes you need to try both. See which is more fun.

Anyway, I am always grateful for other folks opinions, suggestions, and general feedback. As always, thank you for reading.

Sincerely,
The Composer.

I love it, if I had the space I'd be doing the same. A good friend and regular gaming opponent has a garage full of his stuff, most of the scenery scratchbuilt from finds – toys etc from charity shops and so forth. It's a great and fun part of the hobby :D

Just ran into a fellow who does some very nice work over on google plus. He's working on a project he calls the kill team board, which is apparently inspired by the sin of alacrity. I'm thinking I need some space-hulk terrain sooner rather than later. (I do have gene-stealers and PLENTY of terminators. (I may have fifty or sixty old terminators. I don't think I have as many gene-stealers yet.) Thank you aBHsurfer and Grenadier. Thank you very much.
