I'm really curious about this. I think it tells us, setting aside what we theoretically like about a particular period or game system, what we really like about gaming. I'm a French Revolution Napoleonic player, but they would not make my top 5 All Time My top 5 would be Blood Bowl Space Hulk Man O War Battletech Starfleet Battles RPG Paranoid AD&D 1st Edition Boardgame Kremlin The common denominator would be good old fashioned slug it out fun. |

What constitutes "VIntage"? If it's the 25 year old rule that usually applies to cars in the USA, then there's not really a tabletop wargame that old that I enjoy more than the crop of fast-play streamlined rulesets that I'm currently playing. I've really no desire to go back to games with too many rules and Battletech levels of complexity. The oldest ruleset that has any appeal to me at all is Necromunda, and that's only 19 years old. |

What constitutes "VIntage"? Don't read too much into it. Old rules sets that have been around a while. |

Since I started with mostly board games, I'll list my top 2. Aliens (Leading Edge) Squad Leader I played those 2 games the most out of anything! Honorable mention will go to my original copy of Fortress America.
As for miniatures: Star Wars Miniatures Battles (WOTC, not very old, but OOP and not really a board game) Necromunda GHQs WW2 MicroArmor game although that's probably not vintage since it's still around. Original 5150 – now OOP, different editions available. Not sure if the above would be off-topic or not… |
