Hi,
The 4th 15mm set is available. It Is Hungarian Honvéd Hussars. Possible to paint from this figures the 14-18th regiments. They were the 'new' hussar uniform the longer pelisse and dolmain with less braids. They are in campaign trousers and covered shakos.
I painted 3 squadron from the 12 figures. The 14th Lehel, 15th Mátyás and 16th Károlyi.

The set also contains 6 resin bases and a painting guids for the different units.
You can see more photos and buy this set here:

Krisztian,

Really nice figures, beautifully painted.

I like how you are selling your figures. Bases, flags, info, and figs. And the quality of the figures is excellent. As I have no interest in the period, I doubt if I will buy any figs, however, I am curious enough to perhaps give them a try, especially as I believe there are plans to keep expanding the range, correct? Anyone have a gamer's guide to this period?

Buckeye AKA Darryl!

Thanks your admire words! Yes, this series will continue. the next set will be 1848 Austrian artillery.

Here you can read scenarios about some battles of this war:

We plan to translate the rule what we use and it will be free on the Hagen-Minature webshop.

Buckeye,

Depends on what you mean by 'wargamer's guide' – there were some articles in MWAN published a few years back about the uniforms, which has been expanded upon by 2 books/booklets – one published by Caliver and the other by someone else. I think there were also a further series of articles in MWAN that covered a few of the battles and the ways they could be adapted by gamers but I'll have to look.

Most of the battles covered in MWAN are up on the McNelly website, but one or two of the earlier battles are there.

Krisztián:

The shakos on the hussars: How many different sizes did they come in during the war? I haven't seen pictures that look as small as the ones on your Hussars.

McLaddie:

The new Hussar regiments (14-18) got new smaller chakos. (The pictures in the Barczi-Somogyi book and Than Mór paintings aren't rigt in size).
Here is a Karolyi NCO's shako:

Plus because of the cover the shakos seems smaller.

And of course the figures had such wide head because of their extreme mustache. :)

Bye,
Krisztián
