Just when you thought it was safe to leave the MILKY WAY Galaxy, to get away from 'zombies'…… link First they are 'vampire' stars….which suck the 'life' out of their companion stars and then they 'mini-nova' blowing off the extra gas (and their companiong star to PIECES)…and they move straight to an 'after-life'…..waiting for another star to happen by…to start the whole process again??? Mwah-hah-hah!!!!! Sgt DWW-btod |

I want to know how they got a camera outside of the Milky Way to be able to take that picture 'of' the Milky Way. Oh, and who took my tin-foil hat? |

It's not a picture of the Milky Way, it's a Hubble picture of galaxy NGC1309. With a magnitude of roughly 11.6 you'd need a pretty powerful telescope to see it from Earth. |
