What scale is Flames of War new WW1 miniatures? Are they 15mm, 1/72. They look great. J. |

Battlefront FOW scale is 15mm or 1/100 scale. But my small group of local players use 1/72nd or 20mm scale for the game with minor adaptions mostly in the infantry team basing. Others use 10mm, 6mm and even 1/285th scale for their games but the vast majority use 15mm. My collection of 20mm miniatures predated FOW Ver1.0 back in 2004 so I just adapted the game to fit the 20mm scale. Just played the BF scenario "Assault on Hill 105" (Brest 1944) this afternoon. American rifle company with sherman tank support vs. German grenadiers and their supportive RL and pak 97/38 guns plus three MG bunkers (1500 points vs. 1000 points). Will have AAR summary, photos, and some YouTube video link soon on my blog. Ran an Omaha beach (D-Day) scenario last June: link |
