The Gaming Room is now open! Having finally cleared out some junk we now have a nice 6x9 gaming table available. Our first game will be a WW2 game set in Normandy. It will take place Saturday, August 16th at 9:00 with an eye to being finished around lunch time. Located at 1601 Payne St in Evanston, IL If you would like to be on the email distribution list drop me a line (mark@scalecreep.com). We plan to have games as often as SWMBO will allow, hopefully every other Saturday. And no, you won't get SPAM from me. Just announcements of upcoming games. In the coming weeks we will add two 4x6 tables to the mix. Time to get your BOOM! on. |

@KTravlos: Yes, the shop is in Evanston IL. Not terribly convenient to public transport. You can take the Purple line to Noyes, then we're 1/2 mile west. @Syr Hobbes: Been working on the table set up today for the first game so I'll post a pic when I have it a little further along… |

In any case here are a few quick pics from the phone. Still lots of work to be done to get the table ready. Roads, more fields, more trees and some scattered flock and such to break up the "putting green" look. The Table

It's a dogleg to the right, Par 4. Try to avoid the minefield on your left, you DO have to play your ball where it lies. It's looking nice, just need roads and hedgerows. And more hedgerows. And maybe a few hedgerows. |

Looks good! And some bocage. |

@Happy Little Trees: Think I should add some hedgerows? What do you think? By the way you can trade nylons and/or chocolate for a mulligan, if the attractive inn keeper hasn't fled by the time you play through (special club rule). @Mako11: Seriously, Mako 1 through 10 were taken? Weird. |
