I recently placed an order from Tumbling Dice (excellent service by the way), which included the ships involved from the War of the Pacific. I also ordered the Los Andes (1875) and Javery (1874) ship packs. I know the Los Andes was an Argentine monitor that served in the River Plate, but what of the Javery? I can't find anything on her. Any insight is appreciated! |

Javary was a Brazilian coastal monitor built in the 1870s. She had a sister, the Solimoes. Javary was lost in a fire fight with a fort in 1894 during the Federalist Revolution. There isn't much info on Google, and my library is at home so this was all I could turn up. Solimoes wrecked in 1892. |
