I'm looking to build an Ancient Spanish army in 15mm. I quite like the look (and price) of Donnington figures, but there isn't a great deal of variety. What other manufacturers would work alongside them (preferably within the same unit). TIA |

QRF are very nice and should match and there is a rolling discount on three packs or more. Loads of variety too. |

Donnington are on the larger side of 15mm IIRC, so should combine OK with Old Glory. |

What about Fantassin from Spain? I have painted and sold several Spanish armies. They have been mainly Old Glory. A good solid range. I built others by Donnington and Fantassin. |

Fantassin are slightly larger than Donnington. They are ok mixed with Xyston |

The War & Empire figures should be out later this year. They had a very successful Kickstarter late last year. These Westwind figures look great. |

I agree with Corvus belli with good cavalry and command as well. |

Thanks all. Do the Corvus Belli figures tending towards Xyston/Fantassin size or towards the smaller Donnington? |

link will help re CB and Xyston. If you want to mix in the same unit then I would advise getting extra shields from one or other manufacturer. The Xyston shields are far larger than the CB shields. I only have Fantassin/Warmodeling Romans rather than Spanish, but if they are anything to go by then they will dwarf CB. |
