I am tempted to try my hand at assembling and painting some laser cut mdf buildings for both 15mm and 28mm WWII games. Any advice on what to look for? I really would like a crisp and detailed model for the painting to bring to life…realism is a key. Some of the manufacturers I know of are: Najewitz-Modellbau (looks incredible) Crescent Root (also looks incredible) Sarissa (looks nice but not sure of the detail compared the above two) Thoughts? Advice? Ideas? As always, thanks in advance for your help. |

Try timelineminiatures based in the UK. There WWII range is reasonably priced. |

I have this one from Crescent Root in 15mm link and it is jaw-droppingly good! The nice thing is you can use their, or others, buildings and the ability to place them in various ways makes this a very versatile piece. It comes in four sections plus the road end caps. Assembles quickly and breaks down quickly. Being in 4 segments means it packs into a reasonable size box as far as storage. I will be picking up the matching rural piece in the future. As to painting, it comes already done. |
