Those figures look nice!

I'd not heard of flat matt Plastikote previously. Is it brush-on or aerosol?

Cheers, dBerczek!

Plastikote is an aerosol and is ideal for base coating plastic figures. It gives you a nice strong layer that sticks to the figures and allows you to paint and not worry it's going to peel off.

All the best!

Thank you for the tip!

I enjoy painting the Armies in Plastic and HaT Industries 1/32 scale plastic figures. However, I've had some trouble with minor paint loss (flakage), especially on bayonets, forearms, and ankles even when undercoating with Krylon and Rustoleum primers designed for plastics.

I'll try out the Plastikote.

Nice one, dBerczerk. I've been using Plastikote for a while now, on AiP 1/32 & also on 1/72 scale figures. I've been very pleased with the results. Not saying that flaking is impossible but up to now outcomes have been first class.

Happy spraying!
