I take a break to burn off some steam about the way some folks treat other people on TMP and people lose their  ed minds. About the editors? Who the hell cares. Hopefully they get to learn something about the hobby. They have been nice on the boards and that is all that matters. Their personal choices have not harmed you in any way and they are nothing but civil. You freaks who are spiraling out of control about this need to get a new hobby far far away from other humans. And Someone needs to kick your mommas for not teaching you manners. And that is how I feel. |

I agree O.W. I have no idea what the controversy, which seems mostly to consist of accusations, has to do with miniatures and wargames. My visits to TMP is to read posts on new figure ranges, game rules, miniature eye-candy, and other pertinent discussions. I'll still be a member for those features, but I find the Frother's hostility mystifying. |

Virtually every non-technical problem I have witnessed on TMP in the what, 12? 14? Years I've been coming here has been egged on by some from frothers. They appear to attract the sort of antisocial needy git that starts trouble to make themselves feel somehow important. Pitiful. |

My feelings on this is yes there were mistakes made in the initial introduction of the editors. We have learned from that and should be moving on without the constant stirring of the mainly Frothers based complainers. The aim seems to be to shut down TMP but then what? they don't want TMPers over at Frothers so whats the point of doing this other than satisfying some strange urge? |

I don't care how they were introduced. I care how they do their jobs as editors. Anything else is ing into the wind. As an artist and game developer I move in circles that have introduced me to an astonishing variety of people with many interesting personal choices. Who cares. It's up to them what they tell us. Hell, for all any of you know I am a buxom Finnish Transvestite Supermodel. I can paint the hell out of spaceships and Grav tanks though. And that is all that should matter. |

I am not arguing with you. I have spent many hours in bars in Thailand, Hong Kong and The Philippines and would rather see the editors doing decent work as editors, rather than being forced to do something demeaning. I also mix with people who have different life styles due to my work. |

How many newspapers, magazines, and other shows do you watch without knowing, or caring about, the personal lives of any of them. Why is it an issue on TMP? It doesn't matter a bit!!! Why don't these same, self-righteous individuals cast aspersions on the editors of Wargames Illustrated, Wargames Soldiers and Strategy, Miniature Wargames, etc? They don't because it doesn't matter. |

I have to say, I have largely been in the dark about this, at least the current details. I have a wonderful ability to forget what boards I might have posted to so never go back to see what's up. And it looks like I don't want to get "informed" on this latest tempest in a TMP teacup. The only boards I visit with regularity are the ACW & Napoleonics, Conventions and Marketplace related. |
