At Historicon I picked up a force of Irish from footsore for SAGA. The figures are very nicely sculpted with fantastic variety. The other particularly impressive thing is the quality of the casting job. Very little to no flash and there was almost no mold offset. I have just started to prep them so don't have my own pictures.
Very nice miniatures at a pretty reasonable price.

They also had an interesting range of Franco Prussian and unusual ACW minis

I agree the figures are very nice. The only thing that stopped me from buying a Saga army of them was the imminent release of the Crusades version and my desire to only have 1 army underway at a time.

I picked up some of the Skraeling. Very well done.

What scale/size are they?

Maybe it is just me being dim, but is can't find any mention on the blog!

What are the prices per figure (or pack of figures). I am particularly interested in the FPW…

These Irish look really great, how do they fit with other manufactures like Crusader, Old Glory, Gripping Beast?

Pardon the total ignorance here but would some of these guys mix with the Westwind Productions Picts? My knowledge of the period isn't great stretching as far as the Osprey title on the period and the Tristan and Isolde film, shich whilst I could'nt stand Franco's acting as an introduction to the setting of the period is fantastic.

I love the look of the above and was wondering if the Pict and Irish figures could be mixed for a dual Pict/ Irish force for TFL's Dux Brittaniarum

Cheers

Dont see why not, there was a lot of contact between Argyll and Ulster; call them Scots instead of Irish and youre laughing!

The Footsore Irish mix perfectly with Gripping Beast Miniatures. The westwind Picts and Irish are also very compatible. Same for the Black Tree Picts.

Mind you some of the Footsore Fianna are actually meant for a slightly later period.
The knee length trousers are somewhat typically Irish, as are the sleeveless vests.
