IS there a painting / colour guide in the rule book for this system?

Ivan DBA02 Aug 2014 1:10 p.m. PST

Yes, the hardback version had a short painting section, with some examples of alternative color schemes. But it is not a "how-to." If you are wanting details on actual techniques, I would suggest browsing their forum.

Friends / fellow gamers have already done some, they turned out GREAT.
I have to admit, I had a (-duh- moment) when I started to paint my first set of tanks, I 'started' painting the treads 'black'. Just as I had always done my tanks and half tracks of Word War TWO.. lol
Then I saw theres, it occured to me (Pre WW One) the 'treads' were metal in the early stages of armor development. They had applied a redish/brn dry brush over the track section.
The end result looked reallly great!

I wish I had someone to play AQOTMF down here in Birmingham!

Not many gamers here. I have to grow my own. I guess that's fine though. I can grow ones who bathe on a regular basis.

The All Quiet models are really nice. They are what attracted me to the game in the first place. I'm having a blast painting the minis and they have re-awakened my old modeling skills.

What I like about AQOTMF is that I can blow the dust off of some of my old HO train buildings and now have great terrain. From battles in farmland to small towns, your local train store is all you need.
