Very nice work! My 3rd regiment is in campaign dress, but when I see this I want them in full dress as well

Beautiful painting! I like the ground work which doesn't overwhelm the miniatures. I see you mixed Foundry with a Front Rank officer. Works here in a group setting.

Since these figs are so beautiful, I'm going to nit pick.

When I paint hussars, one of my criteria for full vs. field dress is – are the pelisses the same color as the dolmons? Where they are the same, as with this unit, I usually go in for either worn pelisses or dolmons, with FD for trumpeter and maybe officer.

I guess that's not really criticism. So much the better. Great figures, great paint work. I especially appreciate the differences in horse colors. Most ignore the fact that the horses are INDIVIDUALS. Bravo.

My favourite hussar regiment and you got that colour perfect, well done Blue,
BTW what paints/colours did you actually use for the Uniform? Cheers and happy gaming with the unit.

Units which are painted this well usually rout off the table the first chance they get. In all seriousness though, terrific job.

Fantastic job!

Yes, I forgot to mention that the officer is a Chasseur à cheval of the guard from Front Rank:

I use Humbrol colours
To obtain the colour of the 3rd regiment, I undercoated with Blue-Grey 96, then I brushed with Light Grey 64

Thank you all for your kind comments

Thanks Max will look through my old Humbrol tins to see how I can convert. Again nice work
