Some recently completed Fiat CR.42s. Kits are metal with photo-etched struts. The models had ten parts: lower wing-fuselage-tail assembly, two landing gears, two bombs, propeller, upper wing, and three photo-etched strut assemblies. They were more than I wanted to deal with as far as 1/285 scale minis go, but actually weren't too bad. Kevin

Excellent work, especially considering how tiny these models are. |

Wow, those are really beautiful. I imagine they were as fiddly as hell! |

They look great, but I wouldn't want a ten part kit either. |

Very detailed and intricate camo, Kevin! A beautiful sextet indeed :) I have four of these painted, and agree that they do take a while (a couple of days, for me). But the brass parts make for a very sturdy wing construction. The top wing is strong as hell! Which color or mix did you use for the base Giallo Mimètico? —Rolando |

Thanks all for the kind remarks. Rolando, the base top color is Vallejo Model Color 70819 Arena Iraqui. Kevin |
