I wager if he posted under 12 different accounts that no one would ever have had a problem.

I love his posts too. Well. most of them. And the ones i don't, I can just skip, and not rant about it to other people.

I thought with ignore these discussions came to a merciful end. Oh, I like Tango too!

I, for one, can't understand why people just don't ignore his posts if they don't like them.

Good try, but I doubt if they'll care. With ignore and 400 post front page the tango issue is finished.

John I think it would have reduced the anger. People would have still been ed that he was pushing everything off the front page but they wouldn't have their anger focused on a single person.

Yeah, who would have thought we'd long for the good 'ol days of the great Tango Wars of 2014.

There have already been many people, myself included who have given plenty of reasonable reasons for the usefulness of both siffle and Ignore.

Rather than trolling and running for cover, try the search engine.

I get what you are doing – and I sympathise. Even the hardest fought arguments of the past are as nothing to the current theme. Were this to continue for many weeks I wonder if TMP would survive in its current form. Locking down forums is, IIRC, a first.

I don't understand why his posts are a problem. He finds some amazing stuff, things I would never have known about if not for him. How he has the time to ferret this stuff out is beyond me.
