Here is a blog post covering a few things. 1) My first foray into ECW 2) A discovery of some paper figures I quite like 3) The start of a Tinker Fox campaign link Fingers crossed the spark catches and my enthusiasm for this continues. Between you and me I feel I need more historical interests in my miniatures gaming! |

Careful, sparks and paper figures don't often mix. Good luck with your new project. |

Very interesting . . . and I do like the look/feel of those paper figures. -- Jeff

I had forgotten about these. I love the look of them, too. Just bought a set myself. |

Thanks for your comments! I'm fairly sure I could eBay a whole bunch of 28mm Fantasy and get a couple of 15mm ECW armies with the proceeds! But for now I'm content to see how my 'paper experiment' turns out! ;) |

I've been doing 10mm ECW for the last six years. It works (in fact, I've added a Scots army too). |

I have to say, great concept. I like the period look and feel. It makes me seriously consider paper soldiers for testing out rule sets instead of possibly having to rebase. |

I think they are a good idea for trying out rules. As long as they are not too particular about basing. But then, as long as both sides are the same it shouldn't matter in most cases! |
