I have written up a Star Wars game I played recently, using the 5150 rules from Two Hour Wargames. Well, I say 'written up' but it turned out I took more pictures than I thought, so it is more pictoral with comments really! link Anyhooo, take a look if you like, but be warned! I have no qualms about including some squads from technically different eras. If they work in a game I will use them and recognise no continuity on the tabletop except my own! :) |

Neat--I do Star Wars games using Chain Reaction (with modifications to the weapons and the like). Sounds like you had fun! Rob |

Thanks, Rob. Yeah, the mechanics produce a fun game. I'm still thinking how to best represent Jedi, but a few abilities and the rules for Stars in the rules work really well for other heroes. I while back in my blog I mentioned I was planning on a 'gritty' SW campaign using Star Army first to determine who controls the planet and then New Beginings for more hero focussed adventures afterwards. Hopefully I'll start that for real soon. At least there is nothing to paint! |
