About three years ago I bought the board game Battle Cry and since then I fought many furious battles with my nephews.

But then I had the crazy idea to paint the soldiers of both armies. I did not take the soldiers which came with the game but bought various boxes of Italeri 1 : 72 plastic soldiers. I am a slow painter with many different projects on my agenda so I still got some work to do.

A local gent Bill here round Chicago runs double sized games using 54mm! Looks fantastic.

I do the same going the other way with multiple stands of 6mm troops.

Your figures look great! A friend of mine did the same thing with 1/72 scale WWII plastic figures for Axis & Allies (the board games, not the miniatures game.)

And here I was thinking that would look really cool, even before I read your post. Got any pics?

Richard does all of his play testing with painted miniatures. I know he would love to see this set-up.
