Mateus, Great work as always, but those do not look like the HaT horses that come with the kit. I'm going to guess they are the Italeri French Line Chasseurs horses. Am I right? |

Widowson, you're correct. I had these Italeri horses laying around, and their sculpts are much superior to Hat's, so I thought the bavarians deserved these improved steeds. |

When I wargamed with 1/72nd plastics I used to use a pin up through the base of the horse into it's underside to give the model more strength. Not visible when playing as you are looking down. I found horse legs were the next most vulnerable place for paint popping off next to bayonets. Mind you, we did use to use enamels in those days. |

A coating of PVA glue over the painted model is a good, cheap fix for that problem. |
