Just received the first of a bunch of small orders from different companies to check out some 6mm scifi stuff.

Buildings, infantry and two little APC type vehicles from Angel Barracks and holy smokes, they are excellent.

The buildings are super crisp and the figures are ridiculously detailed.

Just wait. You'll soon be down to 3mm! Did you see the Pico armor post in the WWII boards? That stuff will really blow your mind. :-)

BTW check out the 6mm Quar as well. I got a bunch of them and love them. Great times for 6mm!

I too just got into 6mm, and am really looking at dumping most of my 28mm stuff, and most of my 15mm.

More Quar! This evening after I made my initial post, my son discovered my bags of Quar and said how cool they look.

I'm too old to see 6mm little own paint it……

Love the play on words there with "little own". :-)

Not really … you don't have to fight Bns vs. Bns all the time. 6mm is really perfect for a couple Companies vs. Companies or less …

I love 6mm!

But I must admit I need to wear my bifocals when painting them.

Welcome to the Small Side. :)

The VA Docs said just take off your glasses … my eyes have adjusted to the tiny scale … Of course … I have to wear my glasses for everything else ! I'm near-sighted and still have bi-focals … huh? old fart

(Major Disaster)03 Aug 2014 6:25 a.m. PST

That's what I do; take off the bi-focals and paint the minis with the nekkid eye grin Wish I could take 'em off the rest of the time to do everything else, but that's what happens when you get to be old fart
