"Newly disclosed information found in the last will of George Pickett's father, Colonel Robert Pickett, proves without a doubt the confederate war general was a woman.

The discovery was made at an auction in Austin, Texas, this week as american historian Graham Brown got his hands on the precious document. The will proves without a doubt the famous general who participated in the Battle of Gettysburg was in fact Mary Sue Pickett, his older sister. It also appears clearly evident that George Edward Pickett was never part of any military enterprise, but instead, that his sister was in fact the real ‘man' behind the legend…"

Mary Sue? That's an unfortunate coincidence.

Interesting revelation, though.

Unfortunately, some kid will use that as a source for his social studies report.

NOW, if the article posited that John Bell Hood was a woman…I could easily agree to that fact!

wink

No, it was Forrest.

And if Lee was talking to Boy George Pickett after the charge, it Gives some weight to the statement "Sir, I have no division."

Some nearby witnesses heard through his tears as he followed it up by saying "Ma sister took it."

The first woman to attend West Point, and no body noticed. Maybe she also had hermaphroditism so easily mistaken for having male genitalia. If fact maybe she was actually a man, misidentified as a woman? Or maybe she was a woman, disbelievers thinking a woman could never be an infantry officer capable of leading troops?

If Thor is a woman… Same thing.

Absolute garbage, this rag has run garbage like "Survivor from the Titanic found on Iceberg" and "President is a space alien". For those who haven't noticed, THEY MAKE THIS CRAP UP! If Pickett was a woman, how did he/she father children? Tango, a lot of your stuff is interesting/amusing but sometimes you need to check your source before you post.

General Pickett happened to be an acquaintance of mine, no, not the ACW General.
