Does anyone know where I can get my hands on the Hasslefree/ Fenris Games "Police Box" in the US? I've seen the BTD one but I dont want the full set. Unless its on their site in a single form and I'm to dumb to find it.

I also could use some help in tracking down those Dr. Who magazine Daleks, or atleast some "army builder" priced ones. Is there a special issure number I should search for on eBay?

Thanks

I got mine from the UK (Grekwood, to be precise). No hassle with shipping there, though you have to ask for the rate before ordering.
They do have Dr. Who stuff from several manufacturers.

Ainsty's is the best one, I'd go for that myself.

Is this the same one?

I don't think it is, looks a little bit narrower to me and the words are now moulded in on the ainsty one, nice model though not sure of the size next to fig's whereas I know the ainsty one is fine size wise with 28mm figs.

Ainsty used to do a clear resin one as well (did when I bought mine anyway but that was many years ago now.

Cheers Roger.

Mingans Marauders:

If you ARE interested in the Ainsty version you can get it in the States from Recreational Conflict:

Didn't someone do a Clear version also?

Yes see my link above.

The magazine also did one, that had wheels on the base, but it is perfect size.

The Grekwood is well worth it. My paint job doesn't do it justice.

It seems the Grekwood (Yeoman Models) one is more expensive than the Ainsty and is also slightly smaller.

I watched the first of Pertwees outings as the Doctor this weekend. I had forgotten how small it was!

The Grekwood/Yeoman oner looks to be more "in scale".

There have actually been many different Tardis props, each of them different in size, detail, or proportion.

Thus, the accuracy of a particular model depends on which time period you're using it for, and most of them will work for at least one era.
Not that any of that truly matters, or that anyone but the most observant will notice if you use the wrong one.

Thanks for the links and the "TARDIS though the ages" picture. I always thought even the newer Who's (9 – 11 ) had differences to the outside and not just the inside. Guess I'm wrong.

Ended up picking up the Ainsty one from Recreational Conflict.

Might have it, the 12th Doctor and Clara painted up for the Series 8 premiere. Thanks again everyone!
